It's the second NDP that I've gone to. I didn't have a ticket that allows me to sit comfortably and watch the whole parade. I joined the crowd at the other side of the river. We could neither hear the songs nor see the performances on the floating platform. However, I don't think it really bothered anyone there. People came for the fireworks.
The crowd dismiseed almost immediately after the fireworks. And of course, I dismissed myself as well...
